2018 has been a significant year for Three Rivers Rowing Association. Over 500 feet of state of the art docks and two ramp systems were installed. A large-scale Washington’s Landing locker room remodel is underway and flooring at both boathouses is being replaced. We are also proud to have hosted the largest, most successful Head of the Ohio Regatta in nearly a decade while introducing the sport to hundreds of kids and adults through summer programming.

Over the course of this year, our membership of over 500 rowers and paddlers dedicated seemingly endless hours to practicing before dawn and after sunset, volunteered weekends to help repair flood damage, landscaped around both boathouses, fixed equipment, performed various tasks at HOTO and coached outreach programs. Because of YOU, TRRA is a thriving community.

As we celebrate the 35thAnniversary of Three Rivers Rowing Association in 2019, it is important to consider the long-term sustainability of one of the largest community rowing and paddling clubs in the nation. The Board of Directors has launched an aggressive five-year plan to continue performing major facility upgrades while increasing boat storage capacity and adding to our fleet. However, the club will need your help to complete these projects.

As you think about your year-end giving, we ask that you consider contributing to TRRA. Any gift, from $5 to joining the Lambert Boathouse Preservation Society, makes a difference. 80% of gifts received in 2017 were below $150, those contributions gave TRRA the ability to remodel the locker rooms.

Thank you for your loyal support, the result of which is a true community boathouse committed to developing and delivering safe, sustainable and inclusive programs and events that teach and promote the benefits of rowing and paddling to our diverse community.

Most Sincerely,

Bob Oltmanns                                                 Jenn Grieb
