Introduction to Rowing Camps: 4th-7th Grade

Summer Introduction to Rowing Camps for 4th-7th Graders

There is no doubt that summer is a special season for rowing in Pittsburgh and is an excellent time to discover a new sport! Our one-week camps offer participants the opportunity to discover what rowing has to offer and see if it is right for them. Emphasis is on fun, exercise, technique development and enjoying a positive atmosphere. The first day or two will be spent learning on the ergometers (rowing machines) and in our rowing tanks with special focus on safety, terminology and learning the rowing stroke.

Our Learn to Row camp is an excellent first step for any 6th-7th graders looking to join our Fall Season youth rowing team (LINK)
