Learn to Row Camps: 8th-12th Grade

Summer Learn to Row Camps for 8th-12th Graders

There is no doubt that summer is a special season for rowing in Pittsburgh and is an excellent time to discover a new sport! Our one-week camps offer participants the opportunity to discover what rowing has to offer and see if it is right for them. Emphasis is on technique refinement, exercise, and enjoying the environment in a unique way. The first day or two will be spent learning on the ergometers (rowing machines) and in our rowing tanks with special focus on safety, terminology and learning the rowing stroke.

Our Learn to Row camp is an excellent first step for any 8th-12th graders looking to join our year-round youth rowing team (LINK)
