Get fit and get fast this Winter with the 2019-2020 Winter Rowing League!

 

TRRA will once again be offering our Winter Rowing League (WRL) to tide you over until the next water season! Get introduced to the sport of rowing or build your fitness by participating in one or all of our four, 6-week sessions ranging in skill from total beginner to experienced oarsman.

Level 1:  Interested in rowing/Never rowed before?  Sign up for level 1.  Our experienced coaches will guide you step by step through the basics of the sport.  You will learn about rowing technique and physiology in our rowing tanks and on our rowing machines.  No experience necessary.

Level 2 For anyone who has completed level 1, or any other coached rowing course in the past.  All practices involve technical work in our rowing tanks and a physical fitness component on the rowing machines.

All sessions are 7-8:30 PM

Session 1: November 4th-December 19th (Thanksgiving week off)
Level 1 on Monday or Wednesday
Level 2 on Tuesday or Thursday

Session 2: January 6th-February 13th
Level 1 on Monday or Wednesday
Level 2 on Tuesday or Thursday

Session 3: February 17th-March 26th
Level 1 on Monday or Wednesday
Level 2 on Tuesday or Thursday

Session 4: March 30th-May 7th
Level 1 on Monday or Wednesday
Level 2 on Tuesday or Thursday

LocationMillvale Training Facility. The facility has showers and lockers for your use.

Fee*: $150.00 due before the first day of  class

Participants: 18+
