TRRA is the host to three college rowing programs

Private Sculling Lessons
Private lessons are for both beginners and for experience rowers. Why take private lessons?

To learn how to scull with focused tailored instruction in a 1x rowing shell.

So that you can row on your own without a coach (Logbook Sculling).

Enhance your sculling skills
Sculling lessons will be personalized to suit your experience level and goals, and can be scheduled for 1 or 2 people at a time. Scheduling is based on coach availability.
Lessons can be scheduled for individuals or two people using TRRA equipment and are subject to coach availability.

Each non-member participant must sign a TRRA Waiver and have a Swim Test on file with TRRA.

Non-members taking more than three lessons are subject to other Safety Requirements (learn more below).

Fees for all Private Lessons must be paid in advance and be completed on-line.
90 minute Sculling Lesson for One: $105.00
90 minute Sculling Lesson for Two: $170.00

Successful completion of a certification test at the end of your lessons qualifies you to participate in TRRA's Log Book Sculling program. Click the link to learn more.

Safety Requirements

Members do not need additional safety requirements.

Non-members participating in 3 or fewer lessons need a swim test and a TRRA waiver (links above).

Non-members participating in more than 3 lessons will need to complete our Safety Requirements (click for instructions).

NOTE: River water temperature must be 60 degrees or higher to conduct lessons. Exceptions to this require ED approval.
