Executive Director
Matt Logue
mattlogue@threeriversrowing.org Matt has been the Executive Director of Three Rivers Rowing Association since early 2019, and is a current member of the USRowing Safety Committee and an Assistant level Referee for USRowing. Matt is driven to make rowing more accessible and safe for everyone and approaches this drive with a community growth mindset. From Buffalo, NY, Matt began rowing for Canisius High School and the West Side Rowing Club in the late 1990’s. He continued rowing for the University at Buffalo while in college and began coaching in the spring 2001. Over the next 6 years, Matt coached at the middle school, high school and collegiate levels before taking on the full time role as the Director of Rowing & Boathouse Operations for the West Side Rowing Club. In 2013, Matt began working for Row New York serving as the Director of Community Rowing (2013-2016) and as the Director of Boathouse Operations (2016-2018). While at Row New York, Matt oversaw all of the adaptive and para rowing programs, middle school indoor programs, Juvenile Justice programs and adult programs. Additionally, Matt oversaw the effective/efficient operations at each of Row New York’s training locations, took part in the New Manhattan boathouse’s first working group, and looked after all rowing safety operations for the organization.

Director of Rowing, Youth Rowing Head Coach
Matt Grau
mattgrau@threeriversrowing.org Matt Grau is the Director of Rowing and Head Coach of Youth Rowing at Three Rivers Rowing Association, a position that he has held since 2017. Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, Coach Grau was named the Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year while teaching and coaching at Wilson High School (recently renamed to Jackson-Reed). Today, Matt works with the USRowing U-19 National Team as an assistant coach with the Selection Development Camp. He has previously served as the Camp Director for the Olympic Development Program in addition to a number of other roles within the USRowing U-19 system. Matt lives in Morningside with his wife and believes that he has the best job in Pittsburgh. Alana Newman
Alana is a Communications and Development VISTA for TRRA via Americorps. As a former academic and educator, she is a skilled researcher and grant writer and is passionate about using those skills for TRRA. Although it has been awhile since Alana rowed for her high school crew team in northern Virginia, working at TRRA has encouraged her to get back in a boat!

Youth Men's Head Coach
Tom McNamara
tommcnamara@threeriversrowing.org Tom McNamara is a Three Rivers Youth Rowing alumni. Tom began rowing at Three Rivers in 2009, where he rowed for 5 years and placed second at USRowing Youth National Championship in the men’s pair event. Tom also began his coaching career at Three Rivers where he coached masters rowing and youth novices. After leaving Pittsburgh, he coached for 5 years at Rogue Rowing and attended college at Southern Oregon University where he helped to build and coach a new collegiate rowing program. During his time at Rogue Rowing the club won a USRowing club of the year award and the youth program sent its first-ever athletes to the national championship. He then spent a year coaching for Rose City Rowing Club, a nationally competitive sweep program in Portland, Oregon. Dylan Lukas
dylanlukas@threeriversrowing.org Dylan Lukas started rowing at Fox Chapel in the fall of 2012. In his 4 years rowing there he made 2 appearances to SRAA nationals medaling once in the mens varsity 2x. Dylan coached TRYR in the 2017-2018 season and then left Pittsburgh. Dylan came back to the TRRA community in the spring of 2021 and has been here since coaching multiple groups as well as occasionally competing.
